Kid’s Club provides a safe, supervised environment afterschool for students to learn social skills and expand school day learning. Activities include age/grade appropriate games, crafts, reading, music, dance, theater, and recreational play.
Children must be registered through the parks and recreation office before 1:30 p.m. on the day they attend the program. Register at the Recreation Center front desk or by calling 739-9025.
• Colter Discovery Clubs offer opportunities for children in grades 3-5 to discover, explore and ignite interest in activities and hobbies around Teton County. Clubs meet after school in the Colter Cafeteria. Discovery Clubs employ community experts to help participants learn more about a particular activity or hobby. Look for brochures to come home from school, or online. Cost varies, but typically runs around $10 per day.
• "No School Day Adventures and Spring Break Camp” are available for students in grades K-5 during the break. Registration is on a per-day basis and costs $45 per day. Meets daily at the Davey Jackson Elementary school between 8:30-9:30 a.m.
The Jackson Hole Children's Museum is partnering with Teton County Parks & Recreation, Wyoming Stargazing, Wyoming Historical Society and the Cougar Fund to offer afterschool programming for students in grades K through 5th.
Participating kids will be hosted by Parks & Recreation the first week of school and then rotate through the partner organization for the following eight weeks. Each partner organization will host kids for two weeks of fun and learning (if you sign up for all eight weeks).
